Pleioblastus Medake, Rare Variegated Bamboo, 1 Size Live Plant

Pleioblastus simonii Variegatus, or Medake bamboo, is a rare version of Pleioblastus simonii. It is native to China. The foliage grows off of very straight, green culms and is long and narrow, with some leaves being all green to others being deeply variegated green and white. It is a medium sized bamboo, growing to about 20′ x 1'5". It is a great choice for erosion control or as wind break in a highly windy area, especially along coastal areas as it will take salt air. It is hardy down to 0ºf and prefers a mostly full sun location. Shipping delays can occur due to weather. Please ask first if it is a concern.
